With over 15 years of experience in agribusiness management, Dr. Alawode has conducted groundbreaking research on farm performance management, food security, rural development, and agricultural policy management in Nigeria. Her work has influenced government policy and positively impacted the lives of farmers across the country. She has a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife
Dr. Oluwole is an industry leader in food technology with over 25 years of research experience in food processing and preservation. She has developed value-added food products from agricultural products, such as cassava, cocoyam, yam, bambara groundnut, sweet potato, date, watermelon, maize, sorghum, and soybeans. Her research in food product development and preservation methods has l increased food safety standards and improved food quality in Nigeria’s food processing industry. She has a PhD in Food Technology from University of Agriculture, Abeokuta
Dr. Eric understands the dynamics in the production, sourcing and trading of major agricultural commodities of Nigerian and African origin. He has been involved in the development and execution of several commercial contracts for the trade of soybeans, ginger, cocoa, sesame seeds, cashew nuts, maize, fresh fruits and vegetables to local and international markets. He teaches Global Commodities and Food Value Chains at the college. He holds a PhD in Industrial Management from IIC University of Technology, Cambodia
Dr. Olufemi Ojo is a renowned expert in commercial crop production and also in sustainable farming practices. He is highly experienced in developing strategic plans for farms, farm set-up, farm labour management and process flow chart development for commercial plantations. His expertise sphere covers cassava, rice, maize, soybeans, rubber, oil palm and cocoa farm management. As a sustainable farming professional, he has led initiatives that promote environmentally friendly agriculture, reducing the ecological footprint of farming operations and ensuring long-term sustainability. He has a PhD in Crop Production from University of Ibadan.
Dr. Steve is a leading authority on sustainable farming practices that adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change. He has led several projects that proffered innovative solutions for addressing climate-related challenges in agriculture, such as drought-resistant crop varieties and precision irrigation techniques. He has a PhD in Climate Change and Development from University of Cape Town, where he explored questions around Agri-Food Value Chain and its linkages to Africa’s Food Security and Climate Change.
Dr. Yila is a Veterinary doctor with over 25 years experience in the production, distribution and trade of livestock pharmaceuticals. His dedication to the field of veterinary agribusiness has had a transformative impact on the industry. His expertise in veterinary pharmaceutical distribution has empowered numerous individuals and companies to navigate the complexities of the sector, resulting in the delivery of affordable and essential veterinary products to farmers and livestock producers. He has a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria
Godwin is a distinguished member of our faculty, specializing in the intricate field of agribusiness finance. He has a unique blend of qualifications that makes him one of the respected experts in agribusiness finance in Nigeria. He is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He also holds an MBA in International Agribusiness and Food Chain Management from Lead City University. His expertise spans the entire financial spectrum of agribusiness, from financial planning and risk management to investment analysis and agricultural project financing. He helps agribusinesses to navigate complex financial challenges while maintaining long-term sustainability and profitability.
Victoria is a trusted expert in developing and implementing strategic initiatives for agribusiness success. She also specializes in market research and analysis, helping agribusinesses to identify growth opportunities and make data-driven decisions. Over the past 15 years, she has been involved in providing strategic guidance and consulting to a range of agribusinesses, from small-scale farmer’s cooperatives to large agricultural enterprises, assisting them in achieving sustainable growth and profitability. She has an MBA specialization in International Agribusiness and Food Chain Management from Lead City University Ibadan
