Dr-Oluwole-Bolanle (1)

Dr Oluwole Bolanle

Dr. Oluwole is a highly respected food technologist with over 25 years of pioneering research in food processing, preservation, and value-added product development. She has spearheaded the transformation of agricultural products like cassava, cocoyam, yam, bambara groundnut, sweet potato, date, watermelon, maize, sorghum, and soybeans into innovative, market-ready food solutions. With a PhD in Food Technology from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Dr. Bolanle currently serves as Director of Food Processing at the Federal Institute of Industrial Research in Lagos, where she leads a dynamic team of over 40 research scientists, two scientific officers, and seven technologists. Under her guidance, the department actively advances at least 12 ongoing research and development projects. She has more than 33 peer-reviewed publications and contributions to multiple book chapters. She has extensive experience in functional food product development and strong commitment to enhancing nutrition security in Africa.

Godwin Osagbemi

Godwin Osagbemi is a prominent financial analyst specializing in accounting and investment management for the food and agribusiness industries in Africa. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), he has served as Chief Finance Officer at PNG Gas and Senior Consultant in Risk Management at KPMG. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Data Analysis from Cornell University, USA, and an MBA in International Agribusiness and Food Chain Management from Lead City University, Nigeria.

Ife Afesojaye is a brand expert with a specialized focus on market positioning and growth strategies for herbal and nutraceutical products. As the Head of Business Intelligence at Madeworld, a leading brand agency, he has successfully guided numerous companies in scaling their brands and solidifying their market presence. Known as the mastermind behind the brand activation of Gino Mackerel and Tuna Fish, a popular line under Sosaco Nigeria, Ife’s strategic vision and meticulous approach have elevated these everyday products into household favourites.  He combines deep industry insights with creative flair to drive impactful campaigns that resonate with consumers. Ife’s extensive expertise in brand development and market strategy make him an invaluable faculty member of the Diploma in Herbal Medicine Program since 2015, where he empowers students to navigate the intricacies of branding, positioning, and scaling in the competitive herbal and nutraceutical sectors. He has a BSc in Marketing from Covenant University, Nigeria.
