Dr. Shehu Shamsudeen

Dr. Shehu is a leading figure in livestock agribusiness, serving as the National Advisor for the FAO on Sustainable Business in Animal Health and as the Country Coordinator for the EU-FMD project. With extensive experience as a Senior Veterinarian, he has significantly impacted the poultry and dairy value chains, helping to streamline operations, minimize risks and improve enterprise performance.  Dr. Shehu holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ahmadu Bello University and an MBA in International Agribusiness and Food Chain Management from Lead City University, Nigeria.

Dr. Adebayo Awoyele

Dr. Adebayo is a Poultry Management Specialist, who leverages on technology, data science and food safety informatics to enhance productivity and operational optimization. His poultry consultancy expertise has revolutionized poultry enterprises by integrating blockchain technology for traceability in broiler production and implementing technology-enabled business models for improved financial performance. He also supports poultry enterprises in meeting and exceeding industry standards for safety and efficiency. He holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master’s in Public Health degrees from the University of Ibadan, along with an Agribusiness Management Certificate from Lagos Business School.

Godwin-Osagbemi (2)

Godwin Osagbemi

Godwin Osagbemi is a prominent financial analyst specializing in accounting and investment management for the food and agribusiness industries in Africa. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), he has served as Chief Finance Officer at PNG Gas and Senior Consultant in Risk Management at KPMG. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Data Analysis from Cornell University, USA, and an MBA in International Agribusiness and Food Chain Management from Lead City University, Nigeria.

Dr. Olubunmi Alawode

Dr. Olubunmi is an expert in building models for managing investment risks across the food and agricultural value chains in Africa. She has successfully development and implemented frameworks for minimizing inherent investment risks in various upstream, midstream and downstream agribusiness enterprises including poultry. She has a PhD in Agricultural Economics and currently work as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Victoria Madedor

Victoria is a trusted expert in developing and implementing strategic initiatives for agribusiness success. She specializes in market research and analysis, helping agribusinesses to identify growth opportunities and make data-driven decisions. Over the past 15 years, she has been involved in providing strategic guidance and consulting to a range of agribusinesses, from small-scale farmer’s cooperatives to large agricultural enterprises, assisting them in achieving sustainable growth and profitability. She has an MBA specialization in International Agribusiness and Food Chain Management from Lead City University Nigeria

Daniel Ogunsola

Daniel is a seasoned expert in strategic management for poultry businesses, specializing in lean management and performance optimization for broiler and layer operations. With over a decade of experience, he has consistently driven productivity and profitability in the poultry industry.

He is currently the Team Lead at AGCOUER Ltd where he has developed cutting-edge management solutions that enhanced efficiency and profitability in the poultry sector, optimizing feed production systems and ensuring high-quality nutrition at reduced costs. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

We seek highly motivated individuals who have demonstrated the potential to excel in a rigorous, integrated program. Candidates must demonstrate satisfactory performance in an online interview assessment, showcasing their readiness for the program’s challenges. Applicants should also have basic skills in internet navigation to ensure they can effectively participate in the program’s online format.

The Program is designed for a small cohort to facilitate close interaction between faculty and participants, and to promote strong in-class networking. Early Application is advised.
